DAP dinner at Dataran MBI

This is the scene of the dinner site in front of City Council in September. It was the same day as the Michaelian's dinner.Looked pretty much like a chinese dinner that night....i couldn't attend so i can't tell you about it.

..but the weather was great...breezy, cloudy and cool.....

..it was well organised and at a great location too Dataran MBI....the tents were set up on the field right in front of the council premises....


The House Speaker, YB Sivakumar, was The Man in charge of organizing the function....

by 4pm...everything was in place....

..the scene at night...i went back after the Michaelian dinner.....still packed.. i noticed many were going home with a pomelo in hand...

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng had just arrived...below taking a group photo...

..then speaking to the Ipoh crowd...

..everyone sat to listen......

one thing i notice about the new government...is there is a sense of belonging which was missing before..the atmosphere is new....

OMPH Family day 08

The OMPH family day this year was held at Taman DR...good idea...and a great turn out by all the families ...(click on photos to enlarge)

..it started early........kids....

..whole families.....


...a familiar sight on the field..."The MILO MAN"...sung to the tune 'the candy man can'...

..i have never tired of this beverage...and the taste is always the same....

...serious warm up....aerobics.....everyone wanted to get in with the fun!!!

..we started on time and finished on time...excellent organization.....it was a fun filled morning...
..i kid you not..just view this 'Made in India' video by the line dance ladies..to feel the joy of the morning......
