Lunch at Manila Place , Tesco Ipoh.

Tried out Manila Place for lunch recently. It is located on the ground floor of Tesco.
I'm not a fan for western foods but the food here is GOOD!

I had this chicken pie in mushroom soup...it was good.


..you can pass the lamb chop but this cornish pasty is worth a try

so too the chicken cordon bleu and chops......

their cakes are great but super rich
1) cheese cake 2) chocolate cake 3) this lemon cake was light and nice the best for me.

loved this..fried ice cream..it was worth the try...

.........absolutely yummy


prices are reasonable too...

check it out...a word of advice...don't count the calories.

These shots were taken on the 8th day of preached masses.

Tamil and Chinese language masses were held at separate venues.

After mass fellowship...a snack and a drink..this has been held every night after mass.

..nearing completion..the outdoor shrine..

..all are invited to attend the liturgical celebration tomorrow evening starting at 7pm.

Morning Walk at the Ipoh Padang

The Ipoh Padang in the center of town is a lovely place for a morning walk.Unlike the Polo Grounds it is not crowded and has a lot of parking.

Last night was the 6th night of preached masses.

The regular (annual) volunteers were there helping to set up the outdoor shrine ....

...heavens angel ......was there to help too..

in church special blessings was held every night..last night was for blessing of the sick...

Arty angles and curves - the IC Office@Jelapang......

This is the IC office located at Jelapang Ipoh. The design of its building is very different from the usual buildings that JKR have been erecting all these years which is nice and refreshing.(this shot was taken from Bangunan PTTC)

If you are using the NS highway passing through Ipoh this building is located 500m north of the Jelapang toll booth.

The 90 degree angles and gentle curves of this building automatically enables so many perspectives. The material used also adds interesting possibilities.
