Some of the guys decided to play at a different course for a change..we picked Bukit Jana Taiping...a 1 hour drive from Ipoh...a game then have lunch and call it a day...thats the beauty of staying in Ipoh...its like half way between everywhere...

..the 1st nine was doing some work...we started on the 10th...a dog leg to the left...
..the trees on the left are OB..it was a nice morning.....
..clear blue skies...we were the only flight then....I just love the wide open spaces....
..by the time we did the front nine it was getting hot......below the 18th hole ..looking up is the club house ....
..we stopped for a drink and banannas.....and for me to pick out some nice scenery shots....
...this is the 'crazy' hole ( 4th or 5th..can't recall) which has a bunker before the green...the bunker is as wide as the green itself...
...i kid you not.......see..the green..it is immediately above the bunker...anyway i attempted to put my ball on the green in 2....
....i 'psycho-ed and duffed ..my ball landed on the rough( thank goodness) ...still it was looking straight up into the blue sky for my third shot.....
... i punched it out..it landed on the apron at the back of the green..and i parred the hole from the apron...i called it skill...the competition called it a flukee....
the sun was getting hotter...dark clouds were running across the skies...well this is Taiping..where the residents bet on the time when the showers fall each day....
me..i was till enjoying the scenery..palm trees...etc... etc.....
..after our showers we had lunch at Matang...starters was the cold brew....

..I saw this photo behind the cashier....must have been a long time ago..Ramli has long since gone to KL..looks like the the BAM those days knew how to enjoy a good sea food meal...sigh...how i wish to have more of those truly
muhibbah times....
