the Indian Muslim Mosque (2)..next to Ipoh Padang

the inside of the mosque is just as nice..2 dominant features that stand out in this main hall ..the arches..




and the metal work..nice metal design above the grille gate...

at the side of the main hall is this lovely spiral staircase....


i quite admire the metal design of the bannister column...99 years old..and looking just as lovely

even the steps have a nice design....


..it was the metal fence that first caught my eye.....


..but now the arches too are interesting.....

..even the roof top looks lovely now.....


arcades and arches , crenellations and battlements, finials and pediments....think i've learnt another language trying to write about this place...hahaha


...walking through the compound of this mosque is peaceful and uplifting...the mosque committee must be commended for maintaining it well..as visitors like me can still appreciate its surroundings after almost a century....
