....thats how we used to describe the shop that sold nasi kandar those days.. well Tg Rambutan bus station closed down many years ago but the shop is still there.....note the queue of customers lining up for their turn to be served..this is the place...

actually its a stall inside of Yong Suan kedai kopi.....

..this is their menu....looks yummy huh!

...but the Ayam Masak Merah is what the customers always come back for..

..the 'ayam' and the sambal nyor ( think thats how its spelt) see the bowl of orange sambal in the foreground..some ladys finger curry ..hmmm...yum yum

..satu pinggan nasi tak cukup..mesti tambah!!...

..thats the name of the stall.Nasi Kandar Ayam Merah Ipoh !!...this family has been selling their brand of food for 60 over years ..whats their secret...they geeling all their spices fresh....i tell ya it is good!...

if you are passing thru Ipoh around 1130am head into town..at the roundabout with the water fountain turn into Jln Sultan Iskandar ( Hugh Low Street)..till you come to the traffic light ( approx 1.2km ) ..turn left in Jln Yang Kaslom..Kedai kopi Yong Suan is 20 meters from the junction ....bon appetit...
