Ipoh.. best Popiah...@ Canning Garden along Jln Keliling /Jln Lau Pak Kuan

If ever you see a line of cars parked along busy Jalan Keliling , Canning Garden on a Saturday afternoon it will be customers waiting to buy some delicious food at this stall This uncle only sells popiah and i dare say his popiah is the best in Ipoh.
He has been selling popiah for at least 30+ years now ( see his motor cycle number plate..only 2 alphabeth mah) and his TASTE is still the same..consistent since day 1. I wrote about this unlce some months back when he used to open his stall here once per week. However now he sells at this location 3x per week and there is always a line of cars queueing for his popiah.
This is great. Now i don't have to wait till Monday comes around. What makes his popiah so fantastic...i guess it must be his ingredients.....See how he makes his popiah...
1st you lay out the popiah skin....
..then you spread the sauces , add the salad leaf..crab meat & dried prawn....
..then the shredded cucumber, egg, tow foo.....
..then the stewed turnip...
..top it with the onions and waaalah!...the ingredients are done.
..then you fold it and slice it...
..then pack it up and take it away to savour during your tea break.....

.....really lah...this guys popiah is very good...
